In 2018, Benjamin started a consulting business where he helped introduce real estate companies to investors in New York. Benjamin attended networking events to meet investors, and to grow his business, Benjamin wanted to hire freelancers to attend events around the country to generate leads. When Benjamin discovered that no platform existed where companies could generate leads by hiring freelancers to attend events on their behalf, the idea of Forage was born.
